Staff Leave

The Staff Leave page is where School Admins and Academic Coordinators review leave requests submitted by teachers and staff. From here you can filter requests, view details (dates, reason, day-by-day breakdown), and approve or reject each request.

Leave settings

Monthly leave allocation, weekly holidays, and public holidays are configured under System Settings → Leave Settings. Each staff member receives the configured number of casual leaves per month.

Filter Leave Requests

The filter bar at the top lets you narrow down the displayed requests:

  • Use the Search box to find requests by staff name or reason
  • Click Refresh to reload the table

Review a Leave Request

Navigate to Staff Leave → Staff Leave
From the sidebar, expand **Staff Leave** and click **Staff Leave**. The leave request table loads with all current requests.

Locate the request
Use the filters (Session Year, Month, Staff, or the search bar) to find the leave request you want to review.

Click the Edit button
In the **Action** column of the target row, click the **Edit** (pencil) button. A **View Leave** dialog opens.

Review the details
The dialog shows the reason, from/to dates, any attachments, and a day-by-day breakdown. Each day displays as **Full**, **First Half**, or **Second Half** with the corresponding day name.

Set the status
At the top of the dialog, select **Pending**, **Approved**, or **Rejected**. The status change takes effect immediately after you submit.

Submit
Click **Submit** to save the status update. The staff member receives a push notification with the outcome.

Understanding the Table Columns

Delete a Leave Request

Click the Delete button
In the **Action** column, click the **Delete** (trash) button next to the leave request.

Confirm deletion
A confirmation dialog appears. Click **Confirm** to permanently remove the leave request.
Deleting approved leaves

Deleting an approved leave request will reverse its impact on the staff member's leave balance. The allocated leaves for the affected months are restored.


Staff App View

In the Stunov+ Staff app, admins can also manage staff leave requests. The app shows a list of staff members with their leave requests, and tapping into a request reveals details and status update options.
