Student Fees

The Student Fees page is the payment hub where you view each student's fee status and collect payments. It shows summary cards with total, collected, and pending amounts, and lets you filter students by class, fee, and payment status. From here you can pay compulsory fees (full or by installment), pay optional fees, and generate PDF receipts.

  3. Click on a student's action menu to collect compulsory or optional payments
  4. Generate PDF receipts for paid fees

Fee Summary Cards​

At the top of the page, three summary cards display real-time totals for Total Fees, Collected Fees, and Pending Fees. Each card shows the compulsory and optional breakdowns separately.

Filter Students​

Use the filter bar to narrow down the student list by Session Year, Fees, Class Section, Status, Month, and Payment Mode.

Student List​

The student list table shows each student's compulsory fees, optional fees, payment status, and paid amount. The Action dropdown per student includes:

  • Pay Compulsory Fees — Open the compulsory payment form
  • Pay Optional Fees — Open the optional payment form (if optional fees exist)
  • Generate PDF Receipt — Download a PDF receipt of all payments

Pay Compulsory Fees​

Click Action → Pay Compulsory Fees
From the student list, click the **Action** dropdown on a student row and select **Pay Compulsory Fees**. The compulsory payment page opens.

Review fee breakdown
The page shows the student name, class, and a breakdown of all compulsory fee types with their amounts. Any due charges (late fees) are displayed if the due date has passed.

Choose payment method
Select the payment **Mode**: **Cash** or **Cheque**. If Cheque is selected, a **Cheque No** field appears — enter the cheque number.

Pay in full or by installment
If installments are configured for this fee, a **Pay in installment** checkbox appears. Check it to see individual installment rows with checkboxes. Select which installments to pay. Without installments, enter the payment amount directly.

Set the payment date
Choose the **Date** of payment using the date picker.

Submit payment
Click **Pay** to record the payment. The student's fee status updates automatically (Partial or Paid).
Due charges

If the payment is made after the due date, late charges (percentage + fixed amount) are automatically calculated and added. Each installment also has its own due date and charges.

Pay Optional Fees​

Click Action → Pay Optional Fees
From the student list, click the **Action** dropdown and select **Pay Optional Fees**.

Select fees to pay
A list of all optional fee types with checkboxes appears. Check the ones the student wants to pay. Already-paid fees are shown as disabled.

Choose payment mode
Select **Cash** or **Cheque** and enter the cheque number if applicable.

Set date and submit
Choose the payment date and click **Pay** to record the optional fee payment.

Generate PDF Receipt​

  1. Click Action → Generate PDF Receipt on any student who has made payments
  2. A PDF is generated containing:
    • School logo, name, and address
    • Student name and class
    • Compulsory fees breakdown
    • Optional fees breakdown
    • Installment details (if applicable)
    • Total amounts
  3. The PDF opens for download or printing

Staff App View​

In the Stunov+ Staff app, school administrators can view fee collection summaries and student payment status. The app shows unpaid student lists with filtering options.
