Upload Exam Marks

The Upload Exam Marks page lets teachers and administrators enter obtained marks for each student, one subject at a time. After selecting the class, exam, and subject, a student list appears with editable marks fields.

Teacher access

This page is primarily designed for teachers who enter marks for their assigned classes and subjects. School admins access the same functionality through their panel.


Enter Student Marks

Navigate to Offline Exam → Upload Exam Marks
From the sidebar, expand **Offline Exam** and click **Upload Exam Marks** (shown for teachers) or access it via the Manage Exam workflow.

Select Class Section
Choose the **Class Section** from the dropdown. Only classes assigned to you (for teachers) or all classes (for admins) are shown.

Select Exam
Choose the **Exam** from the dropdown. Only unpublished and completed exams appear.

Select Subject
Choose the **Subject** to enter marks for. Only subjects you teach (for teachers) or all exam subjects (for admins) are listed.

Click Search
Click **Search** to load the student list for this class-section-exam-subject combination.

Enter obtained marks
For each student, type the **Obtained Marks** in the input field. The **Total Marks** column shows the maximum possible marks. Leave blank or enter 0 for absent students.

Submit marks
Click **Submit** to save all marks. The system automatically calculates passing status based on the passing marks defined in the timetable.

Important Notes

  • Marks cannot exceed the Total Marks defined in the timetable
  • If a student is absent, enter 0 as obtained marks
  • You can re-enter marks by returning to this page — previously saved marks appear pre-filled
  • Once all subjects have marks submitted, the exam status changes to Submitted on the Track Exam Marks page
Submit before deadline

Marks must be submitted before the Exam Result Submission Date set in the Timetable. After the deadline, marks entry may be restricted.

  • Exam Result — View results after marks are submitted and published
